Author

岡本かの子

Okamoto Kanoko (1889-1939) was a Japanese novelist, poet and Buddhist scholar. She began as a tanka poet and turned to fiction late, writing with a dense sensuality about vitality and appetite in works such as A Riot of Goldfish. She was the mother of the artist Okamoto Tarō.
