大いなる家鴨の姿に似たる 連絡船の三等船室にて 不愉快な動揺を感じ 軽い頭痛に悩まされ 渡り行く島の奥地に痛み悩む母への哀切に泣きつつ ひとりし寝転べば 出稼人夫等の行く先々の未だ見知らざる地への 憧れに満ちたる足に触れ 最初は驚き縮んだ私ではあるが 夢を持たない旅人のあらぬことを しみじみ我ながら感じては 貧しき出稼労働人の心に もろくも兄弟達の涙を感じ 足を伸べ組み添え 瞳を交し 微笑さえ見せて 無言のままにも好意を寄せ 心からなる途上の友として 一夜を共に航海したのである ●図書カード
