この詩集は自分の初めての本だ。こゝに集めた詩は一九〇〇年の冬から今迄に書いたものを全部集めた。それ以前のものははぶいた。 武者小路實篤兄から序文を、岸田劉生兄から裝幀を頂いた事を深く感謝する。自分はこの詩集に誇りをもつ事を禁じ得無いでゐる。自分はこの初めての詩集を亡き父上に捧げる。 一九一八年三月二十六日夜 千家元麿
