停車場前から市街の外側をめぐる、新にひらかれた八間道路は前橋市の一偉観である。鈴懸けの街路樹が深緑の葉を夕風にそよがせて、見るからに涼しげであつた。夜は鈴蘭の花にかたどつた鈴蘭燈籠がついて、夏の夜にふさはしい『明け易き』といふ感じがある。民謡二篇。 ○ 来たらよく見な 鈴蘭燈籠 小花四つで 親一つ ○ 夜の前橋ア 鈴蘭燈籠 お月ヤ出なくも 闇はない
