拝啓。今般亡尊大人之御履歴御編纂之上御出版可被成ニ付、小生ニモ一言可致旨来諭之旨承知仕候。然るに尊大人之性行学識并功績等ハ世之既ニ知ル所ニ有之、又未タ知らさる者ハ御編纂之書ニ而概略ヲ知ルヲ得ル事ト為シ候而、今更小生之喋々ヲ要セサル事ト為し、唯一言申上度ハ、小生ハ尊大人之三十余歳、小生之二十四五歳之頃ヨリ御懇意ヲ受ケ、殆ト四十年間交情渝ラス常ニ兄事シテ、学事上ハ勿論、一身上ニ就テモ種々御誘導ヲ受ケ候次第ニテ、其恩義ハ終生忘却不致次第ニ御坐候。先ハ此段一言申述候。敬具三十一年五月十二日加藤弘之西海軍少佐殿 ●図書カード
