この一巻には、今までのどの作品集にもいれることのできなかつた、私としてはやゝ例外的な形式の短篇のみをあつめてみることにした。 従つて何れも試みの域に止まるものが多く、これを再び世に公けにすることは今では躊躇されるのであるが、春陽堂新支配人磯部節治君の強硬な勧誘を斥けることができず、その取捨を一任する約束で、同氏の好意に酬いるほかはなかつたのである。 たゞ、由来短篇小説といふものを書かなかつた私が、気まぐれにコント風のものを二つ三つ書いた、それが悉くこゝに収められたことが、おそらく、この一巻の存在理由となるであらう。 著者 ●図書カード
